Conquer the Carpet Spot

Every reputable Anaheim moving company has the ability to track even the minutest details. Honed through many years of experience and practice, this very useful skill allows us to see the entire picture and devise appropriate moving strategies. But Anaheim moving companies aren’t the only ones skilled in spotting details. You’ll probably notice more than a few, despite the fact that you’re preoccupied with dozens of moving chores. And you’ll most likely notice most of the details in your new home.

Whenever somebody leaves one home for another, he or she typically feels compelled to scan the new castle top to bottom before committing to a purchase. And guess what – even though a thorough search was conducted, unspotted flaws and blemishes invariably will be discovered after move in.
Among these flaws is the infamous carpet spot. ‘Where did that corner stain come from?’ you ponder.  ‘Wasn’t there before.’  Yes it was.

You, of course, can choose to ignore the spot – in which case the stain likely will bug you to no end. Or you can take steps to rid yourself of the unsightly blemish.
If you decide on the latter, your first course of action is dabbing the stain with a moderate amount of quality carpet detergent. Work it in good, using a paper towel or cloth. Don’t stop until the spot is no more.

Once the stain has been rubbed clean, grab a handy spray bottle full of water and rinse away the cleaning solution. Household tap water will do the trick. To blot up the moisture, use a cloth or paper towel. Then just cover the newly-cleaned area with a dry cloth or paper towel to draw up the residual moisture. Problem solved!
